This mini documentary highlights four hairstylists from the larger group I interviewed, each offering a unique lens into the world behind the chair. I met with them in person, listening as they shared their experiences, the moments that shaped them, and the clients who left lasting marks on their hearts. They open up about what their work truly means to them, and whether they see themselves as informal therapists, a role many of them step into without ever being trained for it.
